Karachi, Pakistan – October 13, 2023 – In a groundbreaking collaboration between Sprint Pakistan, powered by digiBOP, The Bank of Punjab, and the National Incubation Center Lahore, a remarkable mission is underway to discover, support, and empower the most promising startups in Pakistan to showcase their potential at the prestigious Singapore Fintech Festival in November 2023. This nationwide initiative is designed to shine a spotlight on Pakistan’s growing entrepreneurial talent on the global stage.
NIC Karachi, known for its support of entrepreneurship and innovation, took the lead by hosting the Karachi leg of Sprint Pakistan. During this phase, emerging startups had the chance to present their groundbreaking ideas in a local pitchathon. The goal was to uncover startups with the potential to shine on the international stage at the Singapore Fintech Festival.
The judging panel for the Karachi event consisted of notable figures in the industry: Muhammad Humair, COO of YB-Holdings at YBG, Faizan Laghari, Project Director of NIC Karachi, and Moiz Hussain, Head of Finance & Compliance. Their expertise played a pivotal role in selecting the standout startup from Karachi.
We are delighted to announce that from 11 shortlisted startups, the top 5 have emerged as the leading contenders. In order of merit, these outstanding startups are InvoiceMate, (Matesol), YPay Financial Services, Investors Lounge, Fortify and Asani.io.
