AHK and National Incubation Center Karachi discuss collaboration and partnership opportunities

Karachi, Pakistan – His Excellency Dr. Rüdiger Lotz, Consul General, Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany Karachi, and Muhammad Usman, Pakistan Representative of the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (AHK), visited the National Incubation Center Karachi to discuss opportunities for collaboration and partnership. The visit was aimed at exploring potential partnerships that would benefit startups in both Pakistan and Germany.

During their visit, His Excellency Dr. Rüdiger Lotz and Muhammad Usman discussed several key areas of potential collaboration. One of the main areas of discussion was the Startup Germany tour program that was conducted with EJAD Lab. Muhammad Usman expressed interest in conducting a similar program in Pakistan with the assistance of AHK, and both parties agreed to explore this further.

Another area of discussion was the possibility of a global startup competition that would focus on areas such as logistics and mobility, GreenTech, industrial solutions, and IoT. His Excellency Dr. Rüdiger Lotz and Muhammad Usman agreed to explore this opportunity further and identify potential areas of collaboration.

His Excellency Dr. Rüdiger Lotz and Muhammad Usman also discussed the possibility of a platform that would connect German and Pakistani startups, similar to GITEX. This would provide a great opportunity for startups from both countries to share ideas and explore potential collaborations.

Finally, His Excellency Dr. Rüdiger Lotz and Muhammad Usman discussed the possibility of a hackathon in Pakistan, which could be sponsored by a German company. They agreed to explore this further and identify the scope of such an event.

His Excellency Dr. Rüdiger Lotz expressed his gratitude to the National Incubation Center Karachi and their efforts to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the country.

Both parties agreed to explore these opportunities further and to identify potential areas of collaboration that could benefit startups in both countries. They will be meeting again soon to discuss these matters further.
